History

Composers' Village was created in early 2009 as Steve Cronen-Townsend's initial foray into creating Drupal-based web sites. Designing the site has allowed Steve to apply his skills as a software engineer to his lifelong love of music and interest in the compositional process. Shortly after launching the site he founded Cronen-Townsend Consulting where he creates custom website functionality for clients.

Steve hopes the site attracts a community of composers from across the world and becomes truly useful to them as they create music.

The exciting thing is that we are making history as we go.
